Elliot likes to point as he says 'Goo' now. Here is Pepere with the lad pointing. He is getting up and standing with much more confidence now and today he let go of Mommy's shirt while standing for one second before realizing what he had done.

Elliot also came down with his first real cold. Note: He's really, really cranky when he is sick. Aunt Vrim found this out aaalllll morning.

Yes, it has been a while since we've gotten around to updating the blog, but here is a post! It being only two weeks into the New Year, I'd say that's a pretty good recovery time.

Here is a picture of Mommy and Elliot hiking around Kubota Gardens in our new kiddo backpack. It's much nicer on the back than the slings at his size.

Elliot has started to imitate us. It was awesome watching him thrive while we had all of our beautiful houseguests. He is like Vrim and I in that he really likes being the center of attention. He's started making the sign for 'more' when he eats all of his cheerios or rice cake bits.

Baba and Canan came for a month and Tiff and her kids came for a long weekend. Our upstairs bath is in the middle of a remo, so at one point we had 8 people using our 3/4 downstairs bath. Everyone was awesome and good-sporting though so it made it acceptable (for Elif, Elliot and I, I don't know how the guests fared!).

Now two weeks into 08, we're getting back on our toesies.
