brunch and finger paints

We ate with Vrim Teyze, Uncle Rob and Mikey today in their neck of the woods. Afterward, we went to Lincoln Park and looked at the starfish, crab, eels and spitting clams during low tide. Then we came home and tried finger painting.

Spring bbq

Elliot had fun today with his buddy Arran. They toured the neighborhood in tricycles (assisted by their daddies), feasted on food and practiced their soccer skills. He's very good at sharing, especially if you ask -- the word 'share' seems to promote immediate giving for Elliot, at least for now.

AZ weekend

We went to see Nonnie and Pap this weekend and Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Melanie met us there.

Sunshine

Tonight while I was singing Elliot the few songs we sing to him before putting him in his bed, he put his head on my shoulder and sang most of You Are My Sunshine with me in a whisper. He's never done that before and I wasn't sure that he actually knew any of the words to the bedtime songs.

We went to Vrim's house to join in sun worshiping on her back porch. Elliot sported a new shirt from Vrim Teyze, new sandals and, occasionally, a tutu.

We went out for Mexican food and Vrim made sure Elliot learned the fine art of the citrus smile.
