Kerem Amca came to visit and to buy up half of the baby goods in Seattle in preparation for Eva's arrival in April/May. The man shopped twice daily for 6 days- that is love. We also managed to squeeze in some fun:
We flew to Las Vegas for Grandpa's big birthday party. Elliot had a great time with his cousins (second cousins, technically) outside in the warm sunshine. Of course, he had a fantastic time with Grandma and Grandpa, G-gma and G-gpa, Vrim and Robert too. The house is almost finished- the kitchen is the last big indoor project and it's looking great!
Chad says: Elliot loves to open and read mail, so when I get home in the afternoon I usually let him rifle through the mounds of junk mail we receive. This past week, we received this season's Vicki's Secret catalog and I didn't notice what he was doing until about 5 minutes of quiet passed. I asked and with a Big grin he pointed at the models' bottoms and says to me, "Daddy, I like this." So I ask which is his favorite and he replies, "All of them."
Lothario or Swimwear Designer? ...Both?
Also, ignore the Seattle Weekly's cover article that snuck into the pic.
We attended a surprise birthday party last night for one of our friends and Elliot quickly got the hang of Rock Band. First he danced to a couple of songs, then he commandeered the extra guitar to jam along. Random people started taking pictures of him making all kinds of faces while he was rocking out.
Again this year the community orchestra Chad plays with had a concert of holiday music at the Museum of Flight. The timing coincides nicely with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus by helicopter so Elliot got to have a chat with those folks. (Chad deleted the xmas photos so no evidence is available).
Unfortunately, the orchestra sets up directly in front of the interactive play area of the museum so
Elliot had his eye trained on the planes during the concert. He lasted half way through before asking to go over and climb aboard some of the exhibits.
