We took a long walk with the kids and broke out both strollers. Chad's a pro.

Chinese New Year celebration

We all took the light rail with some of Elliot's preschool pals to the Chinese New Year celebration happening in the I.D. His class made a dragon and performed their version of a dragon dance that week so it was fun for him to see it on a larger scale. He loved the dragons as well as the fireworks.

Chad and Mags now belong to the blue hoodie crew.

Quick visit

Aunt Christa and Uncle bill came to see Elliot and Maggie on their way to Hawaii. We got to spend a great, sunny day with them about town.

Maggie went to bed at her normal time, but Elliot was allowed to stay up as late as he wanted. At about 11:15, he crawled into Chad's lap by the fire and his eyes closed a few minutes later. I took out the camera to take the photo below and he said, "I'm just so tired." He almost made it to midnight. Vrim, Shane, Kerem, Ebru and Eva helped us celebrate by roasting marshmallows and noshing on goodies. (I do have to say that Elliot stayed up longer than Kerem, Ebru and of course, Eva :)
