Camping

Friends invited us to join them camping at Horseshoe Cove in the shadow of Mt Baker. The location was amazing and there were plenty of hikes, rocks and beaches to entertain the kids. Elliot loved to stop and pick berries as we walked (after checking with our friend who is in the know) and there were slugs, bugs and a bear! Though we didn't see the bear, the campsite host stopped by on our last night to let us know one had been spotted.

Or tooth! The top left tooth has broken through and the right looks so close. M's sleep has been spotty the last few nights and now we know why.

Seafair

We walked down to the beach to see the pirates land for Seafair. It was crowded and loud but Elliot scored a pirate hat and treasure, so all is well.

Mim and Pepere's 50th wedding anniversary

We flew to the east coast to celebrate; we started in Rhode Island near Westerly. We rented a VRBO for a week and almost everyone was able to make it. We spent our last night at the cottage.

Elliot had a blast with his cousins and they were fantastic and inclusive.
